The Legend of Zelda games have been one of the longest-running franchises that is still relevant today. Their games are known for their interesting lore, epic quests, and a world filled with new iterations of old characters which results in new and different adventures that somehow feel very familiar. Wordy, but true.

Fans love this HYAHing hero so much, that he's one of the most drawn Nintendo characters. In this list, we'll share with you some of the funniest Legend of Zelda comics found on the internet to share a good time, and of course, to ease the wait for the next Zelda game.

10 We Can All Relate

When you start playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild, every little enemy feels like a challenge. Blue bokoblins are a tough, and moblins will send you flying off to a game-over screen with only one strike, but that all changes once you get the right gear, and it changes even more once you're skilled enough.

The moment you start parrying and dodging strikes the game loses much of its difficulty, and you inevitably end looking for new ways to disrespect your enemies, or to handicap yourself to increase the game's challenge. Just like this Link, who apparently faced a lynel naked and was bold enough to take a selfie.

9 Yahaha!

Koroks are little yam-like beings, who like to hide in hard to reach places. They will reward the player a small token for either finding them or playing a short minigame. They're very cheerful and are regarded as one of the most hooking aspects of the game, as they reward the player for exploring the world.

But not all players like Koroks, as the small token they give that are used to expand the player's inventory feel small at times, and finding them can feel like a chore. They can't be killed or damaged, but they'll scream a small and lovely "Ouch" if they're struck by the player (or if the player didn't care enough to place the rock where they hide away from them).

8 Huh, Nice Tune...

There are few enemies in the Zelda franchise that are as scary as the Guardians. They will start targeting you with a tiny dot before blasting you away with a laser so powerful, that is able to vaporize trees or break your precious Royal Shield with a couple of hits, which hurts even more than dying.

But even before they start targeting you, the game's music will change to a piano tune which can be described as dark, catchy and unique. It's very recognizable, and it'll make you spin around the camera to find the Guardian before it starts blasting you to death, or worse, killing your newly tamed horse.

If there's something that Zelda fans didn't expect, it was BotW's cooking mechanics. It was so well done, that some players have spent hours mixing food ingredients looking for efficient recipes. These recipes could give players more health than they normally had, or boost up their stats and resistances.

The thing is, that Link can eat his food instantly. There are no small cutscenes or animations, you just select the food in a menu (game menu, that is) and eat it. This is a very exploitable mechanic as it makes the player unkillable as long as they have food, unless you get one-hit by a lynel, of course, but still.

6 My Precious Bottle!

Before Link could cook and eat food, he had to use bottles which could be filled with potions, fairies, milk, Deku Princesses, and many other things, really, if you could sweep your bottle at it chances were that you could catch it.

The thing is, bottles have always been incredibly hard-to-find items, and you could only carry between 4 to 6 bottles depending on the game. You can't lose your bottles in any Zelda game, but imagine the pain that'd be losing one of the most helpful items in the game to a bokoblin.

5 That Makes Sense

If you haven't heard anyone call Link 'Zelda' then you should consider yourself lucky. While all Nintendo fans wouldn't have a problem to recognize and name Link, those who haven't played the games (or live under a rock) probably couldn't do the same.

So it wouldn't hard to blame Link if he were to rename his own franchise, as he's the guy who does the adventure, Zelda usually just gets rescued at the end. Although, Link probably couldn't care less about whose legend it is, he just saves the day because he feels like it.

4 Smile More Often... Maybe

Mipha's one of the most beloved characters of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. She was Link's childhood friend. Mipha is a Zora, which is a race of fish-like beings. They live on the water and are constantly eating fish, that's why they have very sharp teeth.

While she has a rather timid personality and is rarely seen smiling, she tries her best to keep her little brother smiling, as he has a big and charismatic smile. So it is funny to see a cute Zora like Mipha showing her scary shark-like teeth when she smiles.

3 A Terrible Fate

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a game that created a genre of it own, as it pits the player against a time-loop to save the day. It's a pretty dark game that puts a lot of pressure on the player, as it's always showing them how much time left they have before the world ends.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, players are able to get a Majora's Mask that looks just like the one that appears in the original game. While it doesn't bestow the player with the same powers that the main villain of the Majora's Mask has, it's still a pretty nice little trinket.

2 A Sealy Comic

Gerudos are known for many things, living in desertic areas, their Amazon-like culture, their love for well-defined abs, and their passion for sand seals. Sand seals live in the desert and are able to swim in the earth, and can be used by players to surf across the desert.

Riju, the Chieftain of the Gerudo, owns a very interesting sand seal called Patricia, which gives you hints if you offer her fruit. She always talks with seal puns, so it wouldn't be surprising if Riju would be a fan of them.

1 But Seriously, Why?

In Breath of the Wild, every time the Blood Moon rises, all enemies you've defeated will rise to fight again. For some reason skeletal enemies don't regain their flesh, although it would be boring if they did, as they make the game more interesting since they can appear everywhere at night time.
